Anchor Kids exists to see children experience the hope and peace of knowing Jesus Christ. Our hope is to teach the kids the basics of their faith where they understand the person of Jesus in an age-appropriate way. Our hope is to also resource families to have God centered conversations at home and to enable them to disciple their children where it matters the most.
Our Anchor Kids ministry is intentional in 3 things:
1) Safe: As parents, we know the safety of your kids is a priority. Our volunteers are background checked and are also approved by the board through an application. When you arrive you’ll check in your children and receive a specified label that only you will have as another level of security to make sure your kiddo is safe. In addition, our entrance doors remain locked while service is running.
2) Clean: Our custodial staff does a great job of cleaning. But at Anchor Kids, we scrub and sanitize the surfaces and toys, ensuring that your child is playing in a clean environment. Rugs and fabrics are also cleaned weekly with a sanitizing spray. Furthermore, we ask that volunteers remove their shoes in our nursery, where some little babies are crawling.
3) Fun: We want our kids to LOVE CHURCH! So we will dance and sing and play and create! Our program is very art-focused. We often paint and craft together!
CURRENT CLASSES OFFERED
Nursery: 6 months old - 2 years old
Toddler: 2 years old - 4 years old
Pre K–K: children who attend preschool & kindergarten
Elementary: 1st-5th Grade
